It never ceases to amaze me how the universe communicates. Yesterday I decided that with the wonderful triple Mercury, Venus, Jupiter conjunction currently making a conjunction to my natal Mercury in the 9th trine natal Jupiter in the 1st, it might be the opportune time to launch Lua Astrology’s sister site – Lua Tarot.
Now originally I had planned on doing it today but as Mars hit a conjunction to my natal Sun yesterday I decided to take the bull by the horns and just get it up and running. Mindful of the void of course Moon, I figured whilst a Virgo Moon wouldn’t be what I would normally choose, I rather liked the element of service. In a way, Tarot keeps me humble as I have to get myself right out of the way to read. Also whilst I have studied both astrology and tarot for many years, there is a continual feeling of being an apprentice.
I deliberately scheduled my first post to go up at 7pm (UK time) whilst the Moon was on the sabian ‘Two Guardian Angels’. It felt absolutely right as a symbol for my sister sites. I blasted through the day getting as much as possible sorted, wrote my first post, scheduled, then collapsed on the sofa for an hour to eat and lose myself in the tv show Supernatural to clear my mind. I smiled as I realised the episode I was about to watch was all about an angel…
After the show I came back to the computer to announce my site and first post but for some reason it hadn’t posted. I fiddled and tinkered but I couldn’t get the damn thing to work. It took another twenty minutes to figure out I had set the world-time incorrectly on my wordpress settings so everything was an hour behind. With that problem solved it still took another ten minutes to figure out how to remove the schedule and just hit publish.
The second I pressed the button, I glanced at the time. As an astrologer it is instinctive to note times and dates. I kept thinking how odd it was that my careful plan had been delayed and wondered what the universe was trying to tell me. I cast a chart.
I let out a sigh of relief as the Moon was still on “Two Guardian Angels“. I noticed Scorpio on the Ascendant. Some might be cautious of that but it feels right. Scorpio has a natural affinity to ‘occult’ things and strong perception. The Sun was in the 7th house indicating (hopefully!) a positive reception by others. Whilst I had been very conscious of the transiting planets to my nature chart, I had not elected a chart for the launch.
Whenever I cast a horary chart I always check the Sabian of the Ascendant as this often gives very pertinent information. The Ascendant changes so quickly that I feel the Sabian on this angle is very important.
You can imagine my delight when I realised that my new blog launch chart Ascendant is:-
“A Calm Lake Bathed In Moonlight”
Just a reminder – Lua means ‘Moon’ in Portuguese
Sometimes the universe gives us a helping hand. Sometimes we are delayed for a reason. The star wheel turns and the dreaming sky sends a vision just to say “it’s ok. We are listening.”
