It’s a big week in the astrological calendar as we have Venus changing signs, a solar eclipse in Taurus and conjunctions to the South Node.
My seedlings are now looking dangerously like plants. Tomatoes, spinach, beetroot and lettuce are perched on my windowsill where I croon over them daily. My sunflower seems to sprout leaves every time I look at her. I’m proud of my little plants but mindful that they are nowhere near fully grown. Continue reading
We are gearing up to the solar eclipse so I thought I would take a look at Saros Cycle 138 as the eclipse on the 10th May will fall under this series. The Saros Cycle is rather like the main story arc of a television series, with each eclipse that falls within it an individual episode that has its own storyline. A trine between Mercury and asteroid Angel on the 29th April seems to set a tone of ‘stop, look, listen’ this week. It feels as though every time you sense a wall in front of you, it’s a cue to go within and seek out that part of you that is connected to divine inspiration. If you believe in angelic beings or spirit guides, make time to talk to them – and also make time to listen to what they might have to say in reply. I once asked an Angel why they hadn’t answered me when I needed them. They replied that they were waiting for me to stop shouting!

Asteroid Psyche was discovered by Annibale de Gasparis on March 17th, 1852 in Naples. Whilst Psyche followed the same established pattern of being allocated a symbol (a butterfly’s wing and a star), she was the first asteroid to become known by her astronomical number (16) written within a circle.
