The New Moon occurs at 9:35 on the 10th April 2013 at 20ARI40.

The Aries New Moon is ripe for planting the seeds of future endeavours. Whilst in the UK we are still shivering after the coldest Easter in 50 years, the clocks have gone forwards, Summer has (apparently) arrived and we too must speed up. This is the first heat, grass cracking through the pavement, birds nesting and a fiery thrill of energy that says I can DO this! Take the initiative and sow the seeds of intent. Full Moon in Libra – March 2013 – Collide-O-Scope

The Full Moon occurs at 09:27 (UT) on the 27th March at 6LIB52.

Can you feel it? The cosmos feels charged. I feel like the hairs on my arms are trying to reach out to something indefinable yet tangible. It’s like the hour before a thunderstorm or earthquake when I feel oddly excited, slightly anxious and like every fibre of my being is on red-alert. Asteroid Vesta

Vesta was discovered by Heinrich Wilhelm Olbers on the 29th March 1807 in Bremen and named by astronomer friend Carl Friedrich Gauss who helped to calculate Vesta’s orbit. Vesta is the 3rd largest asteroid after Ceres and Pallas and the 4th to be discovered (hence its number 4). The symbol of Vesta used in astrology was designed by Gauss and indicates the altar of Vesta and its sacred fire. Continue reading →
