Monday 7th November
Venus and Mercury conjunct asteroid Hidalgo. If you really value something, speak up, make a case for it. Stay true to what you believe in, even when others may try to tear it down. Hidalgo is named after the priest who fought against Spanish oppression in Mexico. Whilst he was eventually executed for his rebellion, his death triggered a revolution. His legacy lives on and he is now revered as The Father of the Nation. Many miracles are attributed to him.
When you stand by what you believe in, you can become a motivating factor for change that can have far wider consequences than you may have originally intended. Miracles can happen. Mercury and Venus advocate living by your beliefs with mindful action and grace. To aim true, bring your heart and mind together.
Tuesday 8th November
Mars opposite Neptune. This muddled transit may leave you feeling unsure of what to do. A lack of drive in another or yourself might drive you a little crazy! Mars is at a bit of a loss here, his energy dissipates and nothing seems to get done. If you feel like you’re not making any headway, don’t be afraid to stop and take some time out.
With the conjunctions to Hidalgo yesterday, the theme of self-sacrifice and
fighting for those who are victims of oppression persists. Look to your local
community and lend a hand. This Mars transit is best used working for the benefit of others or in active meditation.
Wednesday 9th November
Neptune stations direct. Whilst Neptune has been re-visiting Aquarius for the last time in our lives, it has prompted a re-visioning of the future; a future that recognises that we are all connected. But it has also brought a sense of confusion. It has weakened group connections which has had both a positive and negative impact. Underhand tactics, secrets and deception have been brought out into the open, leaving many feeling victims of fraud, disaffected and disillusioned. Neptune turning direct pushes us to unite, to keep imagining the best possible outcome, even when things are unclear.
Thursday 10th November
Full Moon in Taurus conjunct fixed star Rucha and opposite asteroid Europa. This lunation packs a punch and reminds us that pride comes before a fall!
Also today, Chiron follows in Neptune’s footsteps, stationing direct. In my post on Chiron Retrograde I wrote “Chiron will do what he needs to do in order for us to clearly see what needs to be healed so that future generations may be guided by those who once suffered and found a way through their suffering“.
Take heart, if Chiron has exposed painful memories, know that the healing begins now.
Friday 11th November
Mars enters Virgo. Welcome to 11.11.11! Mars in Virgo is happy to analyse the numbers but can get caught up in the details. Remember to keep the big picture in mind. This transit is perfect for sorting out day-to-day annoyances as well as motivating you to start new healthy regimes. The key phrase of Mars in Virgo is ‘don’t sweat the small stuff!”.
Saturday 12th November
Mars opposite Chiron – anger hurts! Old scars ache, old battles resume. If someone is pressing your buttons, make an effort to work through the pain with dignity. With Chiron now direct, this is all part of the healing process. With Mars in Virgo and Chiron in Pisces, there’s a sense of having to bear the pain as a wound is cleaned. It will be worth it in the end.
Sunday 13th November
Mars quincunx Uranus – Look before you leap. This is an irritating aspect that triggers restlessness and/or excitement. Energy is scattered and you may feel pulled in several different directions at once. Slow down. It’s the tortoise that wins the race.
