Monday 30th April
Asteroid Vesta enters Taurus – Vesta shows where we can be devoted. Dedicate time to your garden, even if it is just herbs growing on your kitchen windowsill or dusting a forgotten houseplant. Tend to your inner garden by taking time to review the seeds you have planted in your life. What needs to be weeded out? What parts of your life have taken hold? What parts of your life are strangling the others? Do you work too much? Are you dedicating too much time to others and not yourself? Vesta shines a gentle light on the problem and helps you to work through it. Be patient with yourself.
Tuesday 1st May
Moon in Virgo – The Moon makes a succession of aspects today which advise you to look after yourself better. Oppositions to Neptune and Chiron and a conjunction to Mars show that sometimes it’s easy to kid yourself into agreeing to do more than is good for you. Try not to fall foul of the guilt card. Trines to both Pluto and the Sun show that doing what you can brings better results all round. Rather than feeling drained by overcompensating, you feel energised by giving what you an give.
Wednesday 2nd May
Moon in Virgo
“We can do no great things, only small things with great love.”
Thursday 3rd May
Moon in Libra quincunx Neptune, opposite Uranus, square Pluto. Sometimes it’s easy to get caught in what we think others should do instead of what they are actually doing. Lost in the fantasy of what should be we are surprised and sometimes hurt when people do something unexpected. The trick today is simply to accept people where they are, as they are. Make no judgements about what could have been. Things are as they are for a reason.
Friday 4th May
Mercury sextile Venus – Tell someone you love them. It doesn’t matter whether it’s your partner, your friend, your child or a cheery neighbour who always has a smile. The words count. This easy transit benefits any social occasions or tricky negotiations. Take the opportunity to improve your connection with others.
Saturday 5th May
Moon in Scorpio, Venus opposite asteroid Nemesis. There’s a bit of a dark edge to the skies today. The Moon in Scorpio may find you deep in thought, pondering the meaning of it all. Bad luck, good luck happens to us all. It isn’t personal. It just is.
“When you begin a journey of revenge, start by digging two graves: one for your enemy, and one for yourself”.
Sunday 6th May
Full Moon in Scorpio – The Full Moon sits on the Sabian Symbol “A Woman, Fecundated By Her Own Spirit, Is “Great With Child”. This lunation poses the question – what will you leave behind? What will be your legacy?
“Normally we do not like to think about death.
We would rather think about life.
Why reflect on death?
When you start preparing for death you soon realize
that you must look into your life now…
and come to face the truth of your self.
Death is like a mirror in which the true meaning of life is reflected.”
