Monday 7th May
Moon in Sagittarius – Approach life with warmth and enthusiasm and the universe will give back ten fold. Use what you have learned along the way to inspire others. Dance along the pavement, the world is your playground, life an adventure. Spread a little happiness.
Tuesday 8th May
Mars quincunx Uranus – Sparks fly. Watch for problems with machinery, TV’s and computers. Back up your work. Emotionally, these two can trigger irritation through things being simply unpredictable. Take a deep breath and try not to force your point of view. Use this energy productively to start work on a new innovative project that will keep you busy until the cosmos calms down.
Wednesday 9th May
Moon in Capricorn, Mercury enters Taurus. After the electric frizzle yesterday, today’s earthy aspects help to ground and centre you. The mood is orientated towards the satisfaction of hard work. Problems are best approached in a methodical manner in keeping with Taurus. Patience is a virtue to be cultivated. Take your time. There’s no rush.
Thursday 10th May
Mercury sextile Neptune – Choose a positive frame of mind and the universe will respond in kind.
Friday 11th May
Moon in Aquarius square Mercury, sextile Uranus. Sometimes it’s hard to get others to change their mind. The more you push, the more they rebel. It may even be you who’s feeling rebellious. Trust that the information necessary for change will come through in its own way when the time is right.
Saturday 12th May
The last quarter Moon sits on the Sabian “A Big Bear Sitting Down And Waving All Its Paws”. On the one hand, this symbol speaks of learning to discipline your animal nature in order to connect with the world. On the other hand, sometimes we can curb our impulses so far that we become something other than we were meant to be. This Moon asks you to explore which it might be for you. Are you holding yourself back for fear of being laughed at? Are you pulled pillar to post by your fears, appetites or anger? Are you cuddly and approachable or roaring?
Bear as power animal is the keeper of dreams. It might be useful to note down any dreams which contain animals over the next few days – especially wild animals. Their symbolism may be telling you something you need to know.
Sunday 13th May
Sun conjunct Jupiter, Mercury trine Mars. What a lovely way to end the week! There’s a big wide world out there – go out and embrace it. Throw a party for your friends and neighbours. Unless it’s imperative, put down your work and go and do something purely for the pleasure of it. These aspects bring a sense of abundance and put a skip in your step. Be optimistic about the future. Enjoy what you have!
Hello Leah, yesterday, I saw a hummingbird, then, later in the PM, a crow passed by. I live in a mountain town in Mx. I have seen a hummingbird before, but the crow flew in such a way that made me think it was making sure I saw it. I know the Medicine Cards by Sams/Carson. Hummingbird is JOY, Crow is keeper of the sacred law that ‘All things are born of Women’, the left-handed guardian, and the keeper of magic since Crow bends the light when nec. Comments? I think of the world as a synchronic system, since everything is God, I think the things that just seem to ‘happen’ are really the Div. telling me something. After the public humiliation, moved and to a place close by, American, NO DOG problems any more.
Hi Mary
Glad to hear things are better in your new home 🙂 Yes, I’m pretty much the same in that everything is an expression of the creator and that life is in constant communication with is.
I associate with crow as power animal as a keeper of ancient knowledge. Crow brings an understanding of change and death and of the necessity for both in order for life to continue. Crow is connected to Pluto – elimination and transformation. The hummingbird and the crow together may suggest joy comes from letting go.
Letting go…………………surrender, That is a Buddhist wish. I seem to hold on, no matter what, I hold on……………but with age, maybe………..it will come to me. The crow is unusual in this city, on the peaks of mountians. It flew by so slowly, so close to my balcony…………………as if to say, ‘Do you see me????’ Pluto is smack on my Leo asc. I’ve always blamed Pluto ……………..people do not like me. That is just the way it is. Mostly, I don’t like many people, either. Introvert.
Letting go isn’t easy Mary. I’m a Taurus with an Aquarius Moon. I’m very ‘fixed’. I don’t like change and I hold on with my teeth! But that tenacity can also be a strength as well as a weakness.
I’m close to a few people with Pluto in the first. It’s an intense position but again has it’s positives and negatives. I have Jupiter in the first. You would think I would be bouncing with joy at the idea of a party but no! I like my space and sometimes I get frazzled when I’m around too many people at the same time. I think I’m an introverted extrovert, lol.
