Monday 11th June
Jupiter in Gemini- Spread the word. If you have a story to tell or a cause to publicise, Jupiter helps to carry it far and wide. Jupiter in Gemini believes in connecting with people, networking, coordinating get-togethers. Expand your mind, strive to learn something new every day. Be well-informed to increase your ability to decide what is best for you. It’s a time of big ideas but make sure you don’t take on more than you can handle. Think big but keep your feet on the ground.
A square from Mercury to Uranus today may give a sharp edge to Jupiter’s ingress into Gemini. Mercury square Uranus sometimes likes to stir up trouble, saying shocking things hoping for a reaction. There can be a tendency to brow beat and with Jupiter in Gemini, an inclination to throw out facts and figures to prove one’s point. Tenacious holding to your point of view may be seriously challenged. It may be necessary to listen to a different opinions in order to see the big picture.
Tuesday 12th June
Mercury opposite Pluto – Be careful you don’t make mountains out of molehills. Mercury’s inclination here is to anxiously probe every possible meaning behind what is said, looking for subtext where there may just be text. Words can be twisted to suit one’s own point of view. There may be a compulsive need to talk about problems and the opposite – a desire to say nothing or keep secrets. Use this energy to profoundly engage in truthful conversation.
Chiron also turns retrograde today for a long backward stint in Pisces. Last year in my post Chiron Retrograde 2011 – Healing, I wrote “As Chiron turns retrograde he asks us to connect with our own inner healer and come to know and understand the wounds we bare.”
If Chiron presents a challenging aspect to a natal planet as he travels retrograde, he shows where old wounds lay; pressing a sore spot to let you know that healing is necessary. Easier aspects such as a trine or sextile may bring you the opportunity to learn from past hurts and possibly to even help others through what you have lived and learned.
By late today, Mercury, still under intense pressure from Pluto forms a trine to Chiron. If tensions have plagued the day, the trine to Chiron may help to relieve the pressure. This compassionate aspect shows that we are all subject to our own vulnerabilities and weaknesses. Whatever our conflicts with others, we all know that everyone has been hurt at some time. By acknowledging this, it can help you to get past hostility.
Wednesday 13th June
Sun in Gemini trine Saturn in Libra – By understanding your limits and setting firm routines, you can achieve your goals. Cheer yourself on! You are fully capable of completing what you set out to do. Tasks that require solid self-discipline can be undertaken today. Alternatively, take some time to plan your future. What do you need to learn to bring your life into balance?
Thursday 14th June
Moon in Aries, Sun conjunct fixed star Alnilam – You may want someone to back off, drop the reins and let you have your head but it’s probably advisable that someone or something keeps you in check. There’s a rash feel to today’s aspects that can give rise to impulsive behaviour that you may regret later. By all means rev the engine to check everything is ready to go, but be prepared to start out slow. When the Moon moves into Taurus later, you’ll be thankful you showed some patience, even when itching to go.
Friday 15th June
Mercury conjunct fixed star Sirius. Robson cites that this aspect brings “great business success”. Sometimes there is an inclination to worry but the Moon in Taurus should help to ground you, keeping you focused on what is possible and reducing concerns about where you might stumble. Work on your c.v., apply for a new job, branch out, use the latest buzz words, prepare a speech or presentation, talk to your boss about developing your role. Do the groundwork and eventually you will see the results.
Saturday 16th June
Venus conjunct fixed star Aldebaran square Chiron – Even the strongest relationships are sometimes tested. It may be hard to see eye to eye, even when you are both trying to see the other’s point of view. If you can’t agree, change tactic and embrace something that both of you love. Even if you just watch a favourite film together, it reminds you of what binds you.
“Just because someone doesn’t love you in the way you want them to, doesn’t mean that they don’t love you with all they’ve got.”

Moon in Gemini conjunct South Node “The difference between school and life? In school, you’re taught a lesson and then given a test. In life, you’re given a test that teaches you a lesson.” ~ Tom Bodett
