“Apathy can be overcome by enthusiasm, and enthusiasm can only be aroused by two things: first, an ideal, with takes the imagination by storm, and second, a definite intelligible plan for carrying that ideal into practice.” Arnold J. Toynbee

Full Moon in Capricorn conjunct Pluto
“Enemies are people whose story you haven’t heard, or whose face you haven’t seen.”
The full scoop on the Full Moon can be found in my post here
Meanwhile, in other astrological news, Mars enters Libra, its sign of detriment. Normally Mars is feisty and go-getting and not too worried about what everyone else thinks. In Libra however, Mars has to take into consideration the other person’s position. The upshot is that Libra can serve to temper Martian aggression and bring out a more diplomatic side to the warrior. Mars here challenges you to learn to get along with others despite your differences.
Wednesday 4th July
Mercury sextile Venus, trine Uranus – The trickster of the cosmos provides a little light relief in the midst of other more unsettling aspects. Today is a day for laughter, sharing a joke with friends, a smile with strangers. There’s an electric edge that favours a little spontaneity. Flashes of inspiration might lead you in a different direction than you planned – go with it, you may surprise yourself.
Thursday 5th July
Venus sextile Uranus – Following up from yesterday’s light-hearted feel, Venus too has a smile on her face as she casually flirts with Uranus. A taste for the off-beat is in order. Change your routine, your food, your music. Check out a new group or gallery. Spontaneously doodle. Experiment – you won’t know until you try.
“Art to me is a humanitarian act and I believe that there is a responsibility that art should somehow be able to effect mankind, to make the word a better place.” Jeff Koons
Friday 6th July
Moon in Aquarius
“Don’t dare to be different, dare to be yourself – if that doesn’t make you different then something is wrong.” Laura Baker
Saturday 7th July
Moon in Pisces conjunct Neptune, sextile Pluto, conjunct Chiron. After carrying an enormous weight on her Full Moon shoulders, the silver lady heaves a sigh of relief and release as she slips into all forgiving Pisces. There is a soft edge to the day – forgive and forget. It’s not worth holding on to anger and resentments. You didn’t fail. Cry a few tears if you need to, let silence wash you clean. Be at one. Be at peace. Breathe.
Sunday 8th July
Mars quincunx Neptune – It’s a good job it’s Sunday! Your ‘to do’ list may be calling you but all you want to do is sleep. Energy levels tend to dissipate under this influence and there’s confusion over what to do next anyway. You may find yourself fretting over some perceived slight or even feeling like you somehow let yourself down. Chin up! Sometimes it’s better to lie low and wait until the fog (or the hangover) clears. It really will feel better tomorrow.
