The Full Moon in Pisces occurs at 11:12 (UT) on the 19th September 2013 at 26Pis40
Pisces, the last of the signs – the beginning and the end, above and below. Two fish swimming in different directions yet connected. Pisces represents that which connects all of us, the invisible thread throughout life. Pisces is also life beyond death, life after life, the cosmic round.
At Pisces Full Moon, boundaries are blurred, the mystical and the magical come to life. Can you feel it in the air? It’s natural to retreat, to step back, to embrace silence or quiet music. Some may cry, sob even for what was once lost and never found. This is a Moon of release and surrender. If the waters are muddied, it can be a time of deep regret, giving in, even victim consciousness.
This evening, a magical double rainbow appeared, just as I was beginning to look at the chart. Rainbows are a symbol of peace just as Pisces also is connected to peace. Pisces is the monk walking the cloisters or sitting high on a mountain. Pisces is the space between breaths. Listen to your breath. Essentially this Moon reminds us they we all come from the same source, whether the primordial soup or Spirit.
Pray.
Under this lunation listen to the song of your soul. Hum or sing the tune. You have your own voice that comes from deep within.
The Full Moon doesn’t make any aspects to the traditional planets aside from the normal opposition to the Sun. You may feel out on a limb. Sometimes you need to know when you are lost so that you can ask for directions.
This Moon feels like the time I sat in a boat and gazed at the enormous sky above, stars in every direction. The Milky Way sprinkled light from a million years ago. I knew I was loved beyond time.
As are you.
The only aspect to the Moon is a wide trine to Black Moon Lilith. There’s a wildness in this Moon. It’s ok to be a little wild. Howl at the Moon. Get in touch with your inner wolf. Wolf understands the dark.
The Sabian Symbol is simply :-
A Harvest Moon
The harvest Moon is abundance. Now is the time to give thanks for every blessing gained, however small. Acknowledge everything you have achieved so far. Release that which never came to fruition, let it rot back into the ground to give life to future endeavours.
Harvest time is also about sharing what you have. It may be sharing apples from your tree or it may be something more subtle – like sharing yourself. One of the greatest gifts you can give to another is your time, attention and affection. Be kind.
The closest aspect in this chart is Saturn sextile Pluto. Venus and Saturn are sitting with the North Node. We have the opportunity now to change everything through love. Commit to love, commit to peace. Strive to find peace within. It’s a galactic sign post.
Looking at this chart, I hear a song in my head…
Just imagine what this world could be. Imagine those moments when you have experienced deep bliss. Imagine that – everywhere.
This is the Full Moon in Pisces.
If we can dream it, we can do it.
Just imagine.
Hi Leah, “Imagine” by John Lennon is what comes to mind when reading your wonderful review. Did you know that Prague has a John Lennon wall? People started writing there spontaneously after his death and they write to this day, layers and layers of paint, every day a new look. But still the most frequent word, after “Love”, is “Imagine”.
Full moon in my 1st house conjunct Ascendant….
