Excerpt from Patreon – The final day of the week sees the season turn once again as the Sun enters Capricorn on December 22. This is the winter solstice in the Northern hemisphere and marks the moment of the light’s return. This is the Pagan festival of Yule, where light overcomes darkness. The days begin to grow longer after this date until equal day and night is achieved next spring equinox. As I am already sitting in the dark as I write and it’s barely 3 p.m., I for one will be glad to great the great Sun God!
Now we are in Capricorn season and of course this spotlights the strong Capricorn build up that peaks in January. It is a time to hunker down and get serious about our lives. Capricorn is concerned with using time productively, making a mark, achievement, reputation. Define next year’s goals. Consider what you want to leave behind. What mark do you want to make on the world? What will be your legacy? Don’t forget to congratulate yourself of any success this year – however big or small.
