Excerpt from Patreon – On February 8, Mars forms an animated trine to Uranus, ruler of Aquarius. Mars stirs, stimulates, agitates. Mars is red hot, fast moving, an arrow flying towards its target. Now in Capricorn, that energy is slowed somewhat and contained but Mars is exalted in this sign. The regimented discipline of Capricorn suits military Mars. With this energy behind us, we know that the way to get to the top of the mountain is to keep pushing on, one foot in front of the other. It doesn’t matter that the baggage is heavy or the weather inclement. All that matters is getting to the top. With the connection to Uranus though, maybe we are finding inventive ways to complete the mission. There’s a sense of ‘work smarter, not harder’ with this aspect so it might be useful for us to see whether any changes to our approach might help us achieve our objectives quicker. We’re more inclined to bend the rules a little with the Uranian influence which can be useful if Capricorn has been whispering that we shouldn’t do this, that or the other. The shadow of Capricorn is doubting one’s capabilities. Uranus however positively encourages us to just try it and see!
