GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) Privacy Policy
From May 25th 2018, all businesses including sole traders such as myself, are required to show compliance with the new EU laws governing personal data. These new laws have been implemented to protect privacy.
By purchasing a reading/service/product from me and/or signing up to my mailing list, you confirm that you understand the information below and consent to your data being used as described below.
How I Handle Your Data
I use Paypal for all transactions on my website. Therefore, I do not store any credit card or financial information.
When you purchase an astrological reading, I will require your date of birth, time of birth and place of birth along with any relevant biographical information that you choose to share.
As a result of your purchase I will have a record of your email address along with the above information.
Your email address is never automatically added to my standard mailing list and is only used in relation to your booking.
When purchasing through the store, the store software also retains a copy of your email address, the type of payment you used (voucher or Paypal) and the type of reading/product you purchased. The store software is held on my website’s server with a GDPR compliant hosting provider. This information is essential for accounting purposes.
If you have cookies enabled on your computer, a cookie is stored so that my website loads more quickly for you on subsequent visits and also to save time logging in to make a purchase. You can choose to delete or block cookies by following the instructions for your own browser and device.
Your astrological and biographical information are stored on a GDPR compliant cloud storage service on a PC that is password protected and that only I have access to. Copies of MP3 readings are kept for up to one year after which time they are permanently deleted. I keep copies for up to one year just in case you need to re-download.
Your chart details specifically (date of birth, time of birth, place of birth and name) are also stored on my astrological software on my password protected PC that only I have access to.
Your astrological and biographical information is confidential. I will never publish your chart unless you give me express permission to do so.
Your personal information is kept for up to 10 years for my reference for continuity between readings and also for my own personal research. I also retain all email conversations between us stored on my email account. This too is password protected and only accessed by myself. My computer is protected by a firewall and also antivirus protection.
I do not pass on your details to any other entity unless requested by law to do so.

If you sign up to my mailing list, you are agreeing to let me hold your name and email address so that I can send you occasional emails regarding news and services. Your name and email address are stored on my mailing list provider’s server which is GDPR compliant.
You can unsubscribe from the mailing list at any time by using the unsubscribe link at the bottom of each newsletter or emailing me directly.
